Michael Langford
ML Training was founded by UK western horse trainer Michael Langford in 2009. Michael started working with horses when he left school and received his NVQ Levels 2 and 3 before working for international AQHA, NRHA and FEI judge Bob Mayhew and his wife Chrissie at Wye Oak Quarter Horses in Hampshire. Michael started at Wye Oak in 2004 and trained with Bob until 2009 when he had the opportunity to start his own business based at the same facility until 2016 when ML Training Re-located to Wimborne, Dorset.
Billie and Ethel (Management team)
Billie and Ethel the border terrier’s are an integral part of the team, taking great pleasure in greeting yard visitors and making friends at shows.
Philosophy
We work with the principles of pressure and release and always take into account the physical and mental capabilities of every individual horse. We never push a horse beyond what they are ready for and keep owners up to date with progress throughout their horse’s stay.
Influences
We know that to be good and stay good you need to keep educating yourself. Michael Attends clinics with renowned western horsemen, making annual visits to Multiple World Champion Al Dunning in the States.
